PANJIM: The librarians working in school on contract basis demanded regularisation of job in addition to the clearance of a year-long pending salary.
Addressing the media persons, at Azad Maidan, here, on Thursday, Saijeet Kudtarkar, one of the school librarians said, “The memorandum regarding the said matter has been already submitted to the Chief Minister’s Office.”
Demanding the proper fixation of pay scale with benefits and Seventh Pay Commission along with regularisation of all the 200 school librarians, Kudtarkar added, “we will not sit on ‘dharna’ like others but will directly go to the Chief Minister’s resident if demands are not meet within a specified time period.”
