Cops involved in nabbing naxal leader felicitated

Director General of Police Bhim Sain Bassi on Saturday felicitated the 15 policemen, who were part of the joint operation of the Goa Police to arrest the naxal leader Sambu Beck.
The 15 police included Crime Branch Police Inspector Pravinkumar Vast, PSI Ninad Diulkar, head constable D D Naik, PC Sarvesh Candolkar, ANC PSI Sunil Gudlar, PSI Sitakant Naik, Somnath Majik, constable Irshad Bhatange, constable Mahablesh Sawant, constable Mahadev Naik, constable Nagesh Parsekar, constable Sainath Sawant, constable Dayanand Parab, constable Chedanand and constable Sarvesh Natekar.
Bassi, speaking on the occasion, said the officials of the ANC, Crime Branch, ATS, officers of Eagle force and the IRB have done a wonderful job in nabbing the naxal leader.
“They did an excellent work,” Bassi remarked adding “it is not easy to find a person among the 13 lakh population and 3000 sq meters area.”
Bassi further said that the officials have done a great job and only this kind of dedication and performance will help the Goa police keep Goa safe.
