DABOLIM: Minister for Forest and Environment Alina Saldanha inaugurated a number of works of hot mixing a network of internal roads in Cortalim constituency.
The roads inaugurated for hot mixing are opposite the old petrol pump at Zuari Nagar up to Dhavlikar’s house in Sancoale. Vollant, Chauder, Pazentar and Maina Consua in Cortalim are some other places where the works have been taken up. Construction of a retaining wall is also on at Shindolem-Sancoale.
Speaking on the occasion Saldanha said promises made by her late husband Matanhy Saldanha in his manifesto are being fulfilled and requested the villagers to assist and support all these developmental works in bringing about all-round development to the Cortalim constituency. She also requested the contractor to provide quality work and workmanship.
Cortalim-Quelossim Sarpanch Hilario Figueiredo, Sancoale Panch Narayan Naik, PA to Minister Cliff Vaz and local residents were present, states the press note.
