Court timing changed

PANJIM: In the wake of surging cases of COVID-19 in GoaThe High Court of Bombay at Goa has revised the working timings of subordinate courts. As per the notice, all courts shall continue to function in two shifts and take up remand and urgent matters only in open court with effect from April 7, 2021.

The judicial working hours will be of two hours in each shift with presence of 50 percent staff on a daily basis.  As per the revised time for High Court of Bombay at Goa the working hours for First Session was fixed from 9 am to 12 pm; Break from 12 pm to 12:30 pm and Second Session from 12:30 pm to 02:30 pm, with effect from February 1. 

The notice for subordinate courts however does not mention further revision of timing for high court.
