The Goenche Rakhandar mentioned, “It appears that the State government is not aware of the gravity of the present COVID-19 pandemic and percentage-wise our State has the highest number of cases in the country.”

Member Rama Kankonkar said, “It is an irony the government claimed that State to be one of the first States to be COVID free State by imposing strict lockdown during the initial stage. However, the situation worsened later as the boundary gates were widely opened with no checks and balance. Thus the government has followed a strange odd revenue policy as far as public health and safety is concerned.”
