PANJIM: Goa’s COVID-19 recovery rate touched 92.71 per cent after 343 patients were declared negative and cured. The coronavirus active cases tally stood at 2,517, with 290 new cases reported in the day. The day also saw six deaths due to the infection.
Of the 6 deceased, 4 were admitted in GMC and 2 in Hospicio. Two had no co-morbid condition, of which 1 was brought dead to Hospicio. 2 patients were brought dead to Hospicio on Sunday. 3 patients from Mapusa succumbed to the infection- two male patients aged 58 years and a 56-year-old female. A 68-year-old male from Margao, 52-year-old man from Benaulim and 64-year-old female from Fatorda were the other three victims.
