MARGAO: Several multi tasking staff workers also known as COVID warriors led by AAP leader Adv Pratima Coutinho protested at South Goa District Hospital demanding that the CM Dr Pramod Sawant and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane fulfil the promise given with regards to absorbing them in the government service.
They warned of agitation, if the government fails to recruit them back in the services within next the seven days.
On Saturday, the workers marched to the district hospital demanding that they be given jobs. However, they were denied entry to the hospital, as they were planning to meet Medical Superintendent Dr Deepa Correia Afonso to put forth their grievances. These COVID warriors expressed anger against the BJP government for playing with their lives.
