Lifeguards march to CM’s residence, demand govt jobs

PANJIM: In support of their demand for recruitment in Government service through Goa Human Resource Development Corporation (GHRDC), All-Goa Marine Lifesaving Guards Union marched to Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday.  

Swati Kerkar, president of All-Goa Marine Lifesaving Guards Union said, “These lifeguards had applied for various jobs such as MTS, attendants and security guards in the department of GHRDC after the Chief Minister had assured them to recruit in government service. In 2021, though the job vacancies were out in GHRDC, none of these applicants were selected.
