MARGAO: The feast of Our Lady of Health was celebrated with pomp, gaiety and religious fervour at Cuncolim on Saturday.
People from all walks of life thronged the Our Lady of Health Church to seek blessings of Mother Mary. Fr Simon Diniz was the main celebrant at the concelebrated high mass. In his homily, Fr Diniz touched upon the evils plaguing the society. He compared families of today’s modern world and called upon parents to be witnesses of faith in their homes and guide their children through Catholic faith. He also prayed for happiness, health and holiness in every home. After the Mass, the traditional procession was taken out.
