CURCHOREM: In a late night decision the most of the members of Curchorem Merchant Association (CMA) including others decided to keep their establishments closed from Friday till Monday due to rising of COVID positive cases.
According to Association president Rocha Pereira the Curchorem currently has a load of over 400 cases and if the people do not act responsibly things will go out of hand within no time. “Since many people are positive including some traders and also people are asking and sending messages on social media regarding lockdown, as a collective responsibility most of the shops owners decided to keep their establishment closed till Monday as a precautionary measure to control and further spread of the virus and as a first step as a responsible citizen to battle against the 2nd wave of Covid 19.” said Pereira
