CURCHOREM: The 92nd Death Anniversary of Ven Fr Agnelo Gustavo Adolfo D’Souza, SFX, popularly known as Padr Agnel was observed at Guardian Angel Church, Curchorem, on Wednesday. The celebration began with Eucharistic celebration with Parish Priest Fr Vital Miranda as the main celebrant.
The devotees after the procession gathered before the statue of Fr Agnelo in the church premises where a special prayer was held.
According to Fr Miranda, Fr Agnelo had worked in this church as “Capelao Curial” from April 19, 1917 to September 30, 1927 before his death at Rachol Seminary on November 20, 1927.
