PONDA: Ponda Municipal Council ( PMC) has distributed around 3,000 black and green dustbins for door-to-door garbage collection in Curti-Khandepar panchayat area recently.
At a function held at PMC hall, Chairperson Radhika Naik, deputy Chairperson Shantaram Colvekar, councillors, Curti-Khandepar Sarpanch Rukma Khandeparkar and Panchas were present.
Around 1500 dustbins each of both types – black to collect dry garbage and green to collect wet garbage were given to the panchayat.
Speaking on the occasion Curti-Khandepar sarpanch said she would make all efforts to keep the panchayat area clean, after distributing the dustbins.
