Cyclone Helen likely to bring in rains

PANJIM: Though cyclone Helen, caused devastation in coastal Andhra Pradesh, will not have any major impact in Goa, the state might witness cloudy weather and rainfall for the next few days, Indian Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.

PANJIM: Though cyclone Helen, caused devastation in coastal Andhra Pradesh, will not have any major impact in Goa, the state might witness cloudy weather and rainfall for the next few days, Indian Meteorological Department said on Tuesday. 
Several parts of state on Monday evening witnessed light drizzle and the situation might continue for few more days, IMD Goa in-charge K V Singh said. 
IMD has predicted partly cloudy skies with possibility of rain or thundershowers. IMD has predicted further drop in night temperatures. The maximum and minimum temperature for next few days would be around 33 degree Celsius and 22 degree Celsius, respectively. 
At least six people were killed and crops over 1.69 lakh hectares were damaged under the impact of cyclone Helen that hit Andhra Pradesh coast two- three days ago.
