CANACONA: Canacona police arrested a youth for damaging government property after he threw a stone on the PCR van on Thursday.
Sources at Canacona police station said that a youth from Delem in Canacona was arrested under section 353 and 3 of PDPP for breaking the windshield of a PCR van, which was stationed near the Canacona police station on Thursday.
No one was injured in the incident. Police are investigating as to what made the youth throw a stone on the police vehicle.
It is learnt that youngsters in Canacona often tend to damage vehicles for fun without realising the consequences of their actions.
