The death toll in the Vijay Marine Shipyard explosion has risen to four after another injured worker, identified as Abhishek Kumar, succumbed to his injuries at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim.
The explosion, which occurred earlier this week, had left several workers critically injured. Authorities confirmed that despite receiving medical treatment, Kumar could not survive his burn injuries.
