Chairman of the Ad hoc Committee on social welfare and health Deepak Dhavlikar visited Hospicio hospital on Tuesday and promised to provide relief to the victim of leopard attack compensation under the social welfare department.
Dhavlikar along with Fatorda MLA Damu Naik and other health officials called on the victim woman, Rangavati, a resident of Khola-Canacona and inquired about her helath.
Moved by the plight of the victim, Dhavlikar offered some monetary contribution to the victim.
Members of the Ad hoc Committee apparently visited the victim after photo journalist from Canacona Soiru Komarpant highlight the condition of the poor woman.
The condition of the woman is now slated to be stable.
