Cash amounting to Rs 25,000 was stolen, as burglars broke into a bungalow behind Airport Plaza, Zuari Nagar-Sancoale, in the wee hours of Monday.
According to Verna Police PSI Jivba Dalvi, the owner had shifted to Bangalore recently and burglars could claim nothing extra in the empty bungalow, except for Rs 25,000, which was kept in the cupboard.
The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when the bungalow caretaker noticed the main door open. Police has registered a case.
