VALPOI: Frustrated with the lack of water supply in the village, a large group of villagers from Dhave, held a morcha at the Water Supply Department,Valpoi. According to the villagers, they have been facing water shortage issues since the last two months where they have not received water. They stated that they had already complained to the department in the past but there has been no solution in sight.
“We have demanded that the Water Supply Department, Valpoi, solves our water shortage problem in the next two days, failing which we will agitate on the road,” said ex panch member Bala Gaonkar.
“We have done the site inspection. The Dhave village water pipeline has become too old and is creating problems. We will replace the pipeline,” said Viraj Patil, junior engineer.
