PONDA: PWD Minister Sudin Dhavlikar on Monday assured to provide water tanks to solve water scarcity problems faced by citizens from Marcaim, Gaunem and Agapur panchayat areas, situated at end point in Marcaim constituency.
Dhavlikar was speaking after inaugurating the hot mix carpeting of the stretch of about 1.5 kms at Agapur.
Dhavlikar said water tanks having storage capacity of 500 litres storage will be given under government scheme. He also said that protection wall at Siddarud Math at Adpoi will be constructed at an estimated cost of about Rs 80 lakh.Sarpanch Ganpat Naik, PWD officials, engineers and citizens were present on the occasion.
