PANJIM: Over 12,000 online applications were received for admissions in the first-year degree programme in the general stream by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), during the first round of admission for the academic year 2022-23, which concluded on Monday.

DHE Deputy Director Mahadev Gawas said that the respective colleges will declare the merit list next week. He said that the students who fail to get admission in the first round will have an opportunity during the second round.
