State records 78 new COVID cases, active 761

PANJIM: With the daily COVID-19 positivity rate crossing the 10 per cent mark, the State government has directed health authorities to monitor the situation.

Minister for Health Vishwajit Rane on Monday held an online meeting with the GMC Dean and Director of Health to review COVID-19 cases in the State. 

On Monday, State recorded 78 new cases at a positivity rate of 11 per cent. The state’s total active caseload is 761. 

“Following my discussion with the Dean of GMC and Director of DHS to review COVID cases in the State of Goa, I have instructed them to constantly monitor the cases. We assure people that we will continue this and look into all the aspects,” Rane tweeted.
