PANJIM: The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) on Tuesday added another set of ‘late reported’ COVID-19 deaths to the cumulative list of number of deaths that have occurred since the beginning of the pandemic.
The DHS stated that there were 29 additional deaths reported from May and December, which were added to the cumulative deaths and have been reported late.
However, by repeatedly releasing ‘late reported deaths’, it is now unclear how many deaths occurred during the peak of second wave – between April and May and during the other months of the pandemic including the first wave.
