PONDA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee received warm welcome in Ponda today. Swami Brahmeshanand, who has huge followers and is guiding largest bahujan samaj sect with spirtual and religious knowledge, welcomed Didi at Tapobhumi, Kundaim saying “Aap Log Aye ,Acha Laga”. Former CM Luizin Faleiro and others accompanied her.
Friday evening she first paid visit to Mangueshi Temple and sought blessings. Later she paid visit to Mahalasa Narayani’s Temple at Mardol.
Police were deployed at various places following warning of protests. However no untoward incident took place.
Swami Brahmeshanand speaking to media said. “In Hindu religion we are taught to respect Nari Shakti (Woman Force).”
