Disqualification hearing on March 8

NEW DELHI: A Supreme Court Bench headed by Chief Justice Sharad Bobde had ordered on February 10 to list the Goa MLAs’ disqualification matters in the first week of March, they are now tentatively fixed on March 8, the first day of the second week.

The computer-generated tentative list had initially fixed the hearing on March 1 on the Court’s presumption that the Assembly Speaker will dispose of the disqualification applications of the Congress and the MGP on February 26 as assured by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta on February 10.
