MARGAO: Beleaguered residents of Moti Dongor on Wednesday prayed to the South Goa Administrator of Comunidades to regularise their structures atop the hillock.

Around 94 residents, who were issued show-cause notices by the Comunidade Administrator, on Wednesday submitted their documents with a plea for regularisation of their structures.

Dynaneshwar Patekar told media persons after the 94 parties submitted their documents to the Comunidade Administrator that they have prayed for saving of their houses from demolition. “We have submitted that all our structures should be regularised atop Moti Dongor since they have been existing on the hillock for the last many decades,” he said.

Meanwhile, Comunidade Administrator Sangeeta Naik told media persons after today’s hearing process that 94 out of 105 parties responded to the show-cause notice and filed their replies today. “As far as the remaining 11 parties are concerned, one Balbatti made his appearance before me and said the 11 parties will file their replies on Thursday,” Sangeeta said, adding that she would also hear the remaining 105 parties from Moti Dongor who have been asked to file their replies on June 6.
