PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa on Friday directed the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) to follow the provisional list if they start admissions for MBBS, BDS and two other professional courses. However, DTE informed the High Court that counselling will start from Monday.
The bench on July 10 had directed DTE to prepare a provisional merit list considering the eligibility of the 35 petitioner students.
The court, while extending the interim relief to the petitioner students, adjourned the hearing for Monday. Of the 35 students, 10 have been placed in the first merit list, which is provisional.
Some 35 of 100 affected students had approached the High Court after DTE had sought admission forms prior to NEET results.
