MARGAO: Disgruntled present and former members of the All-Goa Toddy Tappers Association, have expressed relief that the government has decided not to renew the registration of the association, against the backdrop of a dispute amongst its members. They were referring to the order of the District Registrar of North Goa and Inspector General of Societies, Vasduev T Hadkonkar, who stated that his office has decided not to renew the association’s Registration Certificate, and that the matter has now been referred to the government under Section 3 (C) for appropriate decision, provided that the observations raised by his office are compiled by the association.
