MARGAO: At least a thousand duped investors from various branches of the Visionaries Cooperative Society met at Majorda and expressed their displeasure over the delay in filing FIR against the erring heads of the Coop Soc. They plan to meet the Chief Minister in person on Wednesday if they fail to get response from the government. The amount of duped investors of the three branches has reportedly touched Rs 44 cr.
Maria Vanda Gomes appointed as the chairman/administrator of the new committee to continue over irregularities of the Visionaries Coop Soc, said: “The investors of the Loutolim branch who were not with us earlier too have joined the fight against the Society.”
