PANJIM: The youth wing of the Goa Forward Party has sought for enforcing all the safety standards while holding the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) for admissions to professional degree courses scheduled on July 4 and 5.
The GFP youth wing has demanded that government set up separate centres for students coming from containment zones and not to keep far off centres for the students.
“Students from containment zones should have separate examination centres to ensure safety of other students. Also, as far as possible government should not make the candidates travel far off places to appear for examination,” Goa Youth Forward vice president Runal Kerkar said at a press conference on Sunday.
The youth wing has also sought for enforcing all other safety standards, which have been implemented during the Class XII and Class X examinations last month.
