Entire country knew Cong targeted me: Mickky

MARGAO: Asserting that the entire country knew that the Congress was behind to frame him in the Nadia Toraddo death case, Rural Development Agency (RDA) Minister, Mickky Pacheco has said that God is still alive and that those who had plotted and harassed me have met their fate.

“Not only Goa, but the entire  country knows that the Congress targeted me. The entire case was politically motivated to finish me”, Mickky said, when his attention was drawn to the decision to close the Nadia Toraddo death case.
“Nadia was one of my very close friends. I tried to save her life. I tried all means to save her. I even got someone’s liver and did a transplant without bothering about the cost”, Mickky said, while reiterating that Nadia was killed by the politicians.
Pointing accusing fingers at the Congress for faming him in the case, Mickky said “the Congress was responsible for framing me in the case. But God is still alive. Those who had harassed me had met their fate. Where are they today?”
Mickky was arrested by the Crime Branch on July 9, 2010 in connection with the death of Nadia Torrado after he was charged with abetment of suicide and culpable homicide not amounting to murder. He was later released on bail by the High Court around July 25 the same month.
Nadia had died in a Chennai hospital in May 2010 after battling for life after she consumed Ratol paste at her Loutolim residence.
