Excellent SSC, HSSC results to be researched

Impressed by the landmark SSC and HSSC results, the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has decided to carry out research why the outcome has been so stupendous in the last five years.
This year HSSC results witnessed the highest pass percentage of 82.55 %, while SSC stood at 77.12 %. In the history of Goa Board the pass percentage crossed the 80 per cent mark in case HSSC and 75 per cent mark for SSC.
Officials at the Board informed the research would be conducted by Research Officer Shailaja Ambli who will prod into reasons for the high pass percentage. Part of her research would also involve checking the difficulty level of the question papers set this year, they stated.
They said the other parameters to conduct the research were being framed and the same would be given to Ambli.
