MAPUSA: Extortion accused Deepak Gadekar was denied bail by the Additional District and Session Court at Mapusa on Thursday and currently he is remanded in police custody for three days.
However, Head Constable Keshav Naik and Constable Mahendra Mandrekar were granted bails by the same court on a bond of Rs 25,000 and a surety of the like amount. The two constables were arrested under Sections 395 & 120 (B) of IPC and under Prevention of Corruption Act.
