PONDA: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), Goa chief Shrirang Zamble along with Ponda Taluka President Sanjeev Zamble and farmers staged a dharna, at Kranti Maidan, here, on Monday.
Addressing the media persons, Zamble said that the farmers in the country are staging agitation against the Central government’s three Farm Bills introduced in September 2020.
“Since long time, the BKS is in favour of demand for minimum support price to the farmers, which they are not getting for their produce, and thereby facing losses,” he said.
Zamble also said that on September 8, the BKS has planned to submit a memorandum of their demands to the District Collector.
