MARGAO: Asif Khan who was recently arrested by the Konkan railway police for trying to sell his seven-month-old son in Margao has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody by the Children’s Court.
He is currently lodged in Colvale jail. The police also issued notices to Munni, the child’s mother and also the woman agent from Ponda under 41 of CrPC for being partners-in-crime and were allegedly involved in trying to sell the infant. The child has been presently sent to the matruchaya.
