MARGAO: Residents of Fatorda have complained about the lack of illumination at Fatorda ground, in the evenings.
While football enthusiasts said that they were unable to play football in the evenings, the locals pointed out the non-functioning of high mast light as the reason behind this issue.
Local resident Milagres Fernandes further lamented that the hundreds of people who use the jogging track on the ground in the evening for their walks and runs are now inconvenienced as is it not safe to do these activities in the dark. The locals have urged the authorities to look into this issue at the earliest.
