MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council has intimated the Director of Urban Development of the financial bid opening for the Bio-Methanation plant.
The financial bid will be opened on Feb 19, 2021 at 11 a.m. The Technical Bid has already been scrutinised by Margao Municipal Council for the works of supply, installation testing and commissioning of five TPD Bio-Methanation Plant with Power Generation with Operation and Maintenance for five years at SGPDA Wholesale Market. Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 5 TPD Bio-Methanation Plant with Power Generation with Operation and Maintenance for 5 years at SGPDA Retail Market. Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 5 TPD Bio-Methanation Plant with Power Generation with Operation and Maintenance for 5 year at SGPDA Fish Market.
The Chief Officer, Agnelo Fernandes, has however backtracked on his decision of having the Bio-Methanation plant at SGPDA market and while speaking to Herald said that he has left it to the Government to decide the spot for installation of the plant. He, however, said that the work order can be given within three days after the financial bid scrutiny and finalisation.
The financial bid, however, is open for three places i.e. at SGPDA Wholesale Retail and at the Fish Market.
