MARGAO: Five persons have moved the South Goa sessions Court for anticipatory bail in connection with the offence registered by the Colva police against a group of persons, including Collem PSI Jivba Dalvi.
The bail applications will come up for hearing in the court on Monday.
In separate anticipatory bail applications filed on behalf of Floyd Coutinho, Simon Sathe and Amar Talwadkar, Adv Rajiv Gomes questioned the rationale of the police in filing a fresh FIR when two chargesheets have already been filed in the court on the same matter.
He submitted that the police have filed an FIR when both the chargesheets filed by the police are pending in the court awaiting trial.
