PANJIM: The Panjim Police arrested four minors for allegedly assaulting another minor at Miramar on Sunday.
According to the police, the incident had occurred on October 8, and the matter was reported to the police on October 10.

The case was registered at the Panjim Police Station under Section 307 and other relevant Sections of IPC, upon the complaint of the victim’s father.
The police said that initially only two names were mentioned in the complaint but during investigation it was found that four minors were involved in the incident.
Three accused were detained on Tuesday, while another was detained on Wednesday. All of them have been sent to Apna Ghar, Merces, police said, adding further investigation was underway.
As per the police information, the victim and the accused had gathered together to smoke ganja when the fight broke out. The victim was called by his friends to give him the contraband. When he reached the spot, he was attacked by the accused with a baseball bat umpteen times.
Body found: An unidentified male body aged between 45-50 was found floating near Captain of Ports (CoP) jetty in Panjim on Wednesday. According to the Panjim Police, the body was sent for preservation and post-mortem.
