PANJIM: A team of Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested four foreign nationals for allegedly living in the country without legal documents.
Superintendent of Police Shobhit Saxena informed that the foreigners were found staying without passport, visa or identification documents.
“Goa Police in its ongoing drive against illegally overstaying foreigners apprehended three male foreigners and one female foreigner at Parra. They did not possess identification or travel documents. While the male foreigners claim to be from Nigeria the lady is a Kenyan. Their identities are being determined,” he said.
The foreigners are lodged at the Detention Centre for deportation and black listing while Mapusa Police has lodged an offence under Foreigners Act violation against the house owner.
