PANJIM: The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) felicitated four State awardees to honour and recognise their outstanding contributionsa to agriculture in our state. Their achievements serve as an inspiration for others to strive for excellence in farming practices.
At a function held at Satixa Farms, Sanguem GCCI Vice President Pratima Dhond honoured
Hemant Sawant with Krishi Ratan, Mahesh Gaunkar with Krishi Vibhushan, Dayanand Fal Dessai with Krishi Bhushanand Krishna Gaonkar was the recipient of Fr a Almeida Award.
During the event, a training workshop on dairy farming and coconut cultivation along with field visit to irrigated fodder a, both as sole crop and as an intercrop in a coconut plantation was held.
