Four injured as truck plunges into gorge

PONDA: At least four labourers were injured when a concrete carrying truck veered off the road and plunged into a fifteen feet deep gorge near Navdurga temple at Kundai, on Saturday.

PONDA: At least four labourers were injured when a concrete carrying truck veered off the road and plunged into a fifteen feet deep gorge near Navdurga temple at Kundai, on Saturday.
According to Ponda police, the driver of ready concrete mixer truck Rajan Saytarajan (48), while negotiating one sharp turn near Navdurga temple at Kundai, lost control of the vehicle and plunged into a fifteen feet deep gorge.  Saytarajan was proceeding to supply concrete for an under construction house Kundai.The driver and three labourers accompanying him in the truck were injured in the incident.The injured were taken to Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim.
