PANJIM: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH, Shripad Naik, said that research on developing ayurvedic treatment for cancer is on in collaboration with USA.
“Research on cancer treatment is on in with close collaboration with scientists and doctors from the United States of America (USA) and they have admitted to the effectiveness of ayurveda. We have signed a MoU with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to go ahead with this research on developing ayurvedic treatment for cancer,” Naik said after inaugurating the Ayush Natural and Health Foods Expo in Panjim.
“The distress caused by chemotherapy can be avoided with the medicines which will be developed by these doctors and scientists. The search is on and we are also researching on a large scale. ,” Naik said.
