Mormugao: Thousands of Ujjwala Yojana application forms were distributed in Mormugao as part of a major outreach initiative led by MLA Sankalp Amonkar for residents of the constituency.
A special launch programme was organised exclusively for local residents at the Laxmi Narayan Temple Hall in Sada, ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The programme witnessed a large turnout, with Civil Supplies inspectors and other government officials present to assist beneficiaries.

Amonkar thanked Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant for the initiative, saying the scheme would provide financial support to eligible beneficiaries.

The event saw thousands of residents turning up to obtain the forms and seek information about the benefits available under the Ujjwala Yojana.
