PANJIM: In a major narcotics raid, the Anjuna Police have seized cocktail of drugs worth Rs 18 lakh.
Anjuna Police Inspector C L Patil said that on a tipoff he arrested a French national Stephane Jacques (58). He said that this is the third successful narcotics raid conducted by police in last 17 day of this year.
It is revealed that the accused was residing in Anjuna for last 15 years and had multiple tourist visas stamped on his passport.
Police said that the French national is booked under relevant sections of NDPS Act and taken in Police custody for further investigation.
