Police informed that the thieves entered the rented shop by breaking the asbestos sheets of the roof and stole garments belonging to customers of the shopkeeper, Geeta Gaonkar, a resident of Headland, Sada. A case under section 457 and 380 of IPC has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
Garments worth Rs 35,000 stolen in Vasco
VASCO: Embroidered sarees, blouses, tops, and dresses amounting to Rs 35,000 were stolen from a shop in Vasco on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
