PANJIM: Goa Forward took a dig at Congress on Friday saying that the Congres spokesperson himself has accused the State Congress President Luizinho Faleiro for conniving with BJP and Parrikar.
GF accused Faleiro for having connived with Parrikar and breaking the alliance talks with like-minded people to fight the Assembly polls.
Congress spokesperson Trajano D’Mello on Wednesday had alleged that the Congress leadership in Goa had a setting with Parrikar and so had not supported Goa Forward in three constituencies.
GF President Prabhakar Timle condemned Faleiro for this ‘setting with Parrikar’ stating it is against Goa and against the sentiments of Goans. “With D’Mello’s disclosure it is now clear that there is truth in the accusation of GF and the grassroots workers of the setting between the GPCC Chief with BJP and Parrikar,” Timble said.
He said the Congress high command and Faleiro should come clear on the allegations and tell the people what deals were struck with BJP and Parrikar. GF on Friday received support from the Saligao Panchayat elected members, Sarpanch and former Sarpanchas and panch members.
