PANJIM: The Goa Forward Party (GFP), on Wednesday, urged President of India to dismiss the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Goa and impose President’s Rule in view of corruption allegations by the former Governor Satya Pal Malik.
GFP has demanded that the President’s rule be imposed in the State so as to save Goa from getting “discredited and disgraced”.
The GFP said that the Goa government has lost all moral, ethical and political footing to continue in power following allegations by the former Governor.
GFP president and MLA Vijai Sardesai also made it clear that his party will not be merged with any other party.
