PANJIM: Responding strongly to a photo that has gone viral on social media, misleading the public with false information that COVID-19 patients have been forced outside the hospital where they are being treated on trolleys, the Health authorities issued a statement clarifying that this is not the case.
Both GMC and Directorate of Health Services (DHS) clarified that the picture being circulated on social media is fake and have warned of taking legal action against those who create unnecessary panic amongst people by circulating it.
GMC further released pictures of its area outside the casualty block and the parking area to show the correct picture of how there are no COVID-19 patients being treated outside the hospital.
