PANJIM: Goa Forward Party opened its new office premises, situated on the 5th floor of Edcon Mindspaces Building, at Campal, Panjim, on Tuesday.
The office was inaugurated by party chief Vijai Sardesai in presence of party MLAs, office bearers, well wishers including prominent businessmen, politicians, social workers and others who visited to convey their wishes to the youngest party of Goa with Goemkarponn at its heart.
Amongst the politicians, Deputy Chief Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar, Public Works Department Minister Dipak Pawaskar, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, BJP’s candidate for Panjim by-election Siddharth Kunkolienkar, BJP’s State General Secretary Sadanand Tanavade, Congress MLA Francis Silveira and former MLA Naresh Sawal were present.
Among prominent businessmen and philanthropists were Shivanand Salgaocar, Shrinivas Dempo, Peter Vaz and Aloo Gomes.
Former chief minister Manohar Parrikar’s sons Utpal and Abhijat also visited and wished Vijai bright future. Former PS to Parrikar Upendra Joshi also paid a visit.
A representative of Archbishop’s Palace blessed the party office.
