VASCO: All India Congress Committee (AICC) Goa desk in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao on Thursday said the Goa BJP-led government had mismanaged the COVID-19 situation and claimed that governance in the State has failed. Rao is in Goa on a four-day visit during which he will meet Congress party leaders.
On Thursday, after arriving at Dabolim Airport, Rao told media persons that he will be in Goa for four days and will meet party leaders, members, social media teams and discuss ways to strengthen Congress in Goa for the upcoming elections.
Rao said that for every party, people of all sections, youth and women are important. Goa is facing a big crisis which is the failure of the government. “The Chief Minister of Goa doesn’t know what he’s doing. His COVID-19 administration was pathetic, the people, economy, environment of the State are suffering. Goa is going through a big crisis and Goa needs to be saved from this horrible government,” Rao said.
On his arrival, Rao was received by Leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat, Congress State president Girish Chodankar and others.
